Fly to the Sky !!!xD

FTTS- LIke a Man MV. enjoy<33

Fly to the Sky (FTTS) is a really interesting dou (double singers i guess). If you're one of those who watch korean game shows like X-man and Love Letter, you would know what I am saying. These korean game shows are super funny and you can find subtitles on youtube. Anyway, Fly to the Sky consists of Hwanhee and Brian Joo. They have been around for a while and tend to sing soft music kind of thing. Brian, who often appear on Love Letter rocks the show with his funniness (gorilla dance lol). I always crack up when I watch the show. If you've never watched Love Letter or Fly to the Sky, it's never too late to do that now :] .......

This is a part of an ep from Loveletter. If you watched the mv first, u can tell that brian is really different here xD

Creon :]

"I shall never give to the dishonourable the same rights as those I give to the honourable but he who loves his city will earn the same honours whether alive or dead". From my perspective, Creon seems to be someone who put his city before everything else. He is strict rather than cruel. To him royalties or beggars, traitors and criminals are all the same. This is also why he leave Polyneices unburied as a punishment for betraying the country or city. I think that Creon is being merciless for all right reasons. It is a good thing that he doesn't let his family matters influence his decisions. His merciless reaction to Polyneices' death also says that he is a man who does not act according to emotions. Even though leaving a dead man corpse to be devour and eaten by birds and dogs is a bit too harsh, he is still a good leader.

Epik High forever!!!xD

Epik High is one of the best (korean) band ever!!! They consists of three people in their band. Tablo graduated from Standford, so that might have influence their music xD They're not super good looking, but they definitely have talent. They writes their own songs, all kinds of songs: sad, funny, true, cute, emotional. Some are really inspiring like the song Soul. Their music is much like American music, so I definitely recommend everyone to listen to them. You can find their songs with subtitle in youtube. One of my favorite song from them is Fan (the lyric might offend some ppl) just because it's really true and the mv is awesome. The songs is about how fans are like foolish lovers. The mv, you can interpret it in many ways, but this is what I think: a mad fan kidnapped her idol; but he's scared of her. She wanted him to take a bath, so she put him in the washing machine (the mv is just exaggerating). He tried to commit suicide because he was too afraid of her. She didn't want him to be sad so she decided to send him away using a rocket. But her experiment fail so he died. But you can look at it so many other ways too :] enjoy the mv!!!

Bou-iiii :] what gender do u think this person is???

Iljimae is probably the only historical drama that I like. It takes place during the Jaseon Dynasty in Korea. A righteous official was falsely accused for being a rebel and got killed. Hiding in the closet, the official's son witnessed his father being killed in the house yard. The little boy was able to escape, but dew to the shock, he couldn't remember anything. A robber family raised him. During daytime, he's a mischievous and useless gangster in the marketplace. But at night, He becomes Iljimae, a chivalrous robber. One of my favorite part is when he get his memories back. he still pretend to be useless, but emotional inside. And when he first started to rob the corrupt government officials. The genre of this drama is suppose to be historical; but i would say it's historical, comedy, mysterious, (suspense), sad, little romance. The ending is definitely genius xD. I'm sure it'll worth watching. Wonderful plot and actors (Lee Junki xD is casting iljimae). Once you start you'll get addicted (well I did). Hilariously sad drama *w*...........////

golf/mike

I find siblings singing together kinda cute ^w^ This is Golf and Mike :]

Hidden Message

I tried to find how many hidden messages (or themes) Oedipus has and these two came to my mind first. One is fate is something that one can't escape. Laius tried to avoid  the prediction that he is going to be killed by his son and abandoned his child. However, because of that, his son killed him without knowing that Laius was his father. Oedipus also tried to avoid the prediction of him killing his father and sleeping with his mother by running away; but because he ran away, he killed his father and slept with his mother. It's kind of like it was their fate to listen to the fortune teller, which lead them to trying to avoiding the predictions and fall in to the prediction. Another hidden message that came to me was a "man's debt is his child's pay" (I don't remember the real phrase). But what this phrase is trying to say is that because Laius and his wife committed a sin by abandoning  child , and because of that his son had to pay the price of killing Laius and sleeping with his mother. This also link to another similar theme that is everything has its price. What I mean is if you do a bad thing, at some point in your life, you'll have to pay for it. If anyone find out another theme of the book so far, please tell me, I'm interested :]

Oedipus

Oedipus' family issues seem really weird and disgusting to me at first. But now that I think about it, I feel pity for Oedipus. He was abandoned by his own parents. He grew up not knowing that the people who raised him are not his real parent. He killed a stranger without knowing that the man is actually his dad. I mean, just think about it, to not know who your real parent are; and to not know that a stranger you see on the street is actually your father; and moreover to kill that man with your own two hands without knowing that he is your father is really sad. He married a woman without knowing that she is his mother. I think his story is more than just about a disgusting relationship. It's just really sad to me. I find it rather hard to read.

first

In "My So Called Life" so far, Angela seems to be struggling, trying to find her true self. She is being influence by her new friends in high school and is changing. Her friends and family expect her to be a certain way, and are shock at her change. It seems that her family and friends doesn't understand her; but at the same time, she doesn't understand them either.
